The centre mainly offers short-term emergency shelter services for people in crisis and distress. Its confidential, free services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Note: to receive the crisis shelter service, a referral is required through the Info-Social service (811) or through a representative of the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l'Outaouais (CISSS de l'Outaouais).

CAVACs provide front-line services to crime victims and their families and to witnesses of crime. Assistance is provided whether or not the perpetrator is identified, arrested, prosecuted, or convicted.
