Commission des services juridiques (CSJ)
The Commission des services juridiques is the agency charged with applying the Act respecting legal aid and the provision of certain other legal services in Québec. The mission of the Centre Multi-Écoute is to provide mental health prevention and to help with the social integration of any person who needs it.
The Centre Multi-Écoute is a listening, psychosocial assistance and referral center for all individuals. It offers services in several languages while respecting the culture of the participant and, as much as possible, in the client's language of origin. In this sense, the Centre Multi-Écoute pays special attention to immigrants.
Secours-Amitié Estrie is a front-line community organization working on prevention and support in the area of mental health. It offers an anonymous, confidential and free telephone listening service to the adult population of the Eastern Townships, i.e. 9 MRCs and 117 towns and villages. The organization also offers a customized training service in active listening to organizations in the Eastern Townships.
