1-866-277-3553 is Quebec’s suicide prevention hotline. This toll-free number is available 24/7 across Quebec. You can call if you’re in distress, worried about a loved one, or grieving a suicide. You’ll talk to a qualified trained counsellor who will be able to help.

Deuil-Jeunesse is a non-profit organization that provides professional intervention to assist youth and families who are experiencing the serious illness or death of a loved one. We work with youth and adults in a variety of ways including awareness, support, information and intervention. We offer telephone support, as well as individual, family and group follow-up.

Suicide.ca is Quebec's digital suicide prevention service. It includes a chat and text messaging support service for people in distress, their loved ones or people who are grieving a loss by suicide.

AFMR Maria-Chapdelaine is a community organization that provides support to individuals before, during, and after a separation. Its mission is to support, inform, and empower fathers, mothers, children, and relatives of single-parent and blended families in the Maria-Chapdelaine RCM, including Saint-Ludger-de-Milot.

The centre mainly offers short-term emergency shelter services for people in crisis and distress. Its confidential, free services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Note: to receive the crisis shelter service, a referral is required through the Info-Social service (811) or through a representative of the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux de l'Outaouais (CISSS de l'Outaouais).
